Croatians have always donated their energy and money to support causes in Croatia. Most of the the energy and money have been donated to physically support Croatians.

In the case of the ICTY rulings, the issue is not so much food, medicine or arms supply, like it was during the war, today the issue is policy.

Policy determines how nations and international organizations make decisions in the world.

How can we as "protesters" affect US and UN policy?

We can make it an issue!

How do we make it an isssue? A real issues that is being talked about on CNN and BBC....

Today, the same Croatians that are moderating these free Gotovina groups, websites and pages on Facebook and are calling themselves CROATIANS UNITED INTERNATIONAL and are launching a CAMPAIGN to raise $60,000 to purchase a full page ad in the "A" section of the NEW YORK TIMES!

If only 6,000 of us donate $10 each towards the purchase of an A SECTION full page ad in the NY Times, we are of the belief that we can make this an international issue and influence US and UN policy.

The ad has been created and you can decide for yourself if you want to contribute $10. We feel we can have the ad in the NY TIMES very quickly, challenge ourselves to raise $60,000 in SIX DAYS!

This is true democracy. You get to vote and be influential for $10. This one page ad in the NY times is worth more that 100,000 of us hitting the streets.

This ad will not only be seen by more that one million people reading the NY Times, but will generate hundreds of other news stories by other global media organizations, bringing it to the attention of tens of millions of people including the US State Department, Hillary Clinton, the UN and the leaders of the member states.

If you remember, MoveOn.org executed this exact campaign, publishing a full-page ad in The New York Times on September 10, 2007 accusing General David H. Petraeus of "cooking the books for the White House". The ad also labeled him "General Betray Us".

This is not your daddy's protest. This is the new generation of Croatians using modern day tactics to influence policy, gain real respect and be heard.

Think about it, for $10 we can move mountains!

We have set up a PayPal account to accept donations:
