OTTAWA, CANADA – The date and time for  ”Parliament Hill Demonstration for Generals Gotovina and Markač” event (facebook.com) has been announced:

Saturday, May 7^th -  2:00pm - 5:00pm

Location: Parliament Hill, Ottawa, Ontario

The organizers are calling all Canadian-Croatians to join them at this event:

“While happy that General Čermak was found not guilty, we believe the court ignored key evidence in its verdict against General Gotovina and General Markač.  The purpose of this demonstration is to raise awareness about the unjust verdicts of the ICTY to General Gotovina and Markač  – and to promote the truth about the Croatian Homeland War of Defence to the international community. Through this we aim to give moral support to our Generals and to our Croatians in and out of Croatia. You are all invited to participate in a peaceful demonstration to show our solidarity!

Please spread the word throughout your communities! Flyers in both English and Croatian will be forwarded to anyone willing to print and hand out. We are looking for volunteers to help organize buses from Windsor, London, Hamilton & Area, the Greater Toronto Area, and Montreal.  Additional information with contacts in your community is to follow so please check for updates! If anyone is willing to help out: do not hesitate to offer whichever aid you have to offer!
